Join us at this special retreat where you can learn a unique technique using the Creative Grids Cat’s Cradle Tool designed by Deb Heatherly. Enjoy a 3 night stay at the Quilt Villa where you will have 2-days of instructed time with Sharon and a chance to sew all night.
Double your fun by creating two Cat's Cradle units from each set of squares and rectangles. Trim the blocks with the Cat's Cradle Tool to create perfect triangle blocks without ever cutting a single triangle!

Friday and Saturday afternoon and evening you will have free time to work on your class project or your own project. Use Sunday free time to finish your retreat project or work on something you brought. More info on our website.

Instructor: | Sharon McCann |
Instructor Bio: | Sharon McCann currently lives in Lee's Summit, Missouri which is in Southern Jackson County, Missouri. She has been married to Gene for 36 years and together they have 5 children and 8 grandchildren. Sharon started sewing at the age of nine (9) and did mostly garment making until eight (8) years ago. She decided to take a class at Community College on T-shirt quilts because she had always wanted to make one. Shortly after the class, Sharon started sewing with a ladies church quilt group. While looking for the pattern for the next year's quilt, she found a quilt pattern that she thought would be perfect for her granddaughter's 10th birthday present. After making it, she was hooked! Sharon enjoys trying new things and passing her knowledge and experience along to others. She is a gadget person and will try new gadgets so there is more sewing time and less mechanics time. Sharon also enjoys knitting, crocheting, decorating and travel. |
