Hallucination Quilt - August
The Studio 180 Wedge Star ruler makes it fun and easy to construct a Kaleidoscope
quilt. There are several basic blocks that you can make with this ruler and we will demo
two of them in this class. No paper piecing needed to get the look of this quilt! You can
spice up the traditional kaleidoscope by adding in some diamond wedges, or keep it
simple and make it the traditional way. We will demonstrate and practice both ways so
you can decide for yourself.

| Skill Details: | These classes are designed to teach concepts such as curved piecing or specialty rulers. It is assumed that the student is stitching accurate seams and is ready to advance their skills to the next level. There is usually homework or prep work involved. |

| Instructor Bio: | Mary Rhodes is from Lee's Summit, MO. She has been married to Doug for 34 years and they have two grown children, Megan and Clayton. In addition to being an avid photographer and volunteer for various animal charities, Mary runs a project management group by day. Mary has taken multiple year-long classes focused on rulers and accurate piecing. She has completed Tucker University, Grids Girls 1 & 2 (Creative Grids), and has gained proficiency with other rulers such as those through Sew Kind of Wonderful. |
