Challenge yourself to make a traditional quilt with the flair of your own creativity!
In this class you’ll learn to use the Rapid Fire Ruler to create any size block you want to make for your quilt. This tool allows any quilter to quickly, easily and accurately piece traditional Lemoyne Star blocks in 10 different sizes! Let there be no worries! These block units are strip pieced, assembled without using any “Y” seams.
The goal in this class will be to complete at least one 8 inch block and be confident to utilize this ruler to make any of the 10 different block sizes you may want to make in the future.

| Requirements: | Rapid Fire Ruler required. Please bring at least 4 strips of 2 ½ x 18 strip of colored fabric for your star and 4 strips of 3 ¾ x 18 background fabric for the background along with your sewing machine, basic sewing kit and whatever else you would like to make your sew day grand. |

| Instructor Bio: | Penny Roberts is retired from a professional Long Arm Quilting career where she quilted over 3000 quilts for many fellow quilters and taught hundreds of people from her love as trained computerized quilting educator. Her creativity won her multiple National Quilt Show ribbons and she was awarded a patent in 2009 for the 3D Threader, a multiple spool holder for the long arm quilting machine. Penny continues to quilt for others via “Penny Quilts”, her in home business and regularly leads a free style quilt guild of “Outlaw Quilters” who do their best to ignore rules and stretch their quilting imagination to the fullest! She has called Warrensburg, MO home since the Air Force stationed her husband at Whiteman AFB in 1996. She has 4 grown children and is just starting to enjoy the sweet life of a Gramma! |
