Jelly Roll Rug - May

This class focuses on building the rug using 2½" fabric strips and batting, secured with a zigzag stitch. Instruction will include batting preparation, machine setup for zigzag stitching, and techniques for maintaining consistent shape as the rug grows.
Students will learn how to start the rug, manage tight curves, prevent twisting and rippling, and keep the rug flat as it grows. Guidance will also be provided on fabric placement for balanced color distribution and clean finishes.
This class is ideal for confident beginners and intermediate sewists looking to improve their control of zigzag stitching, curved construction, and large-scale fabric handling.
